Rick Davis is a Partner at Stonecourt Capital. Previously, he served as a Partner and Chief Operating Officer of Pegasus Capital Advisors. Mr. Davis also served as a member of the firm’s Investment, Compliance, and Sustainability Committees as well as on numerous boards of portfolio companies. During his time at Pegasus, Mr. Davis served as the CEO of the publicly-traded Lighting Science Group, one of Pegasus’ portfolio companies.  Prior to Pegasus, Rick had a distinguished career in politics in both the public and private sector. Notably, he served on the Presidential campaigns of President Ronald Reagan, President George H.W. Bush, and Senator Robert Dole, and served as Senator John McCain’s National Campaign Manager. Mr. Davis also built and managed several business and public affairs consulting firms throughout his career.  He currently serves on numerous boards including the Environmental Defense Action Fund and the McCain Institute for International Leadership and is Chairman of the McCain Institute Foundation.
